In January of 2007, Mrs. Shahid was married to her husband in Pakistan, and at this time, she became inspired with the Asian Art of Mehndi (Henna).

Traditionally, before the wedding, beautiful henna designs are applied to the bride's hands, arms and feet.  This is a temporary, decorative staining of the skin that lasts for approximately 2-4 weeks, which slowly and completely fades away.  Mrs. Shahid wore her own bridal designs with pride, which lasted about 3 weeks.

Mrs. Shahid decided to learn how to do this exquisite form of art as well.  Since February 2007, she has quickly developed her henna application skills, and is eager to share this with the Loveland, Colorado  Community, and surrounding areas.

As Mrs. Shahid is promoting "Henna Body Art" as a new business, she hopes the same excitement that she feels will spread quickly, so that many people of all cultures in the Loveland area, will also want to enjoy this form of temporary tattooing.

Many traditional and contemporary designs are available, for reasonable prices.  Men, as well as women, will appreciate the chance to have a design that does not permanently remain on the skin, as likes and dislikes in body art tend to change, as time passes.
